This book taught me that I’m not a fan of David Sedaris’s writing. His wittiness doesn’t connect with me, his style of writing doesn’t make as much of an impact as it does for other people. If I’m reading a memoir, it’s going to be Lockwood, and if I’m reading experimental-ish lit, it’ll be DFW.
